‘7 STRATEGIES’ – ONE ON ONE PARENT COACHING PACKAGE
BASED ON CAROLYN’S BOOK: ‘A PARENT’S GUIDE TO EARLY COMMUNICATION.‘

This parent coaching package will include 7 individual coaching sessions online following each strategy covered in the book.
Using all the experience Carolyn has gained from coaching parents over the last 30+ years, you receive hands-on direct coaching in real time in a supportive way to help you put each strategy into practice over a 7 sessions for lasting change and jump-start communication development. Carolyn’s approach aims to maximise progress in the shortest amount of time, using a combination of video exercises, discussion, reflection and problem-solving. Parents have a focused plan at the end of each session to help get the most out of each strategy tailored to their child’s needs.
7 STRATEGIES COACHING PACKAGE:
- 7 individual coaching sessions of 1-2 hours depending on need
- Flat rate of €980, payable in one instalment or per session. Receipts provided at the end of the program and split over 7 session dates.
- Sessions to take place weekly or every two weeks (depending on availability) during available working hours on Tuesdays, excluding school holidays. Book online for a time that suits you best.

HANEN PROGRAMS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE
HANEN ‘MORE THAN WORDS’ &
‘IT TAKES TWO TO TALK’
PARENT PROGRAMS:
Two Hanen programs are sometimes offered but are not currently available. Details are in THIS LINK. These programs last 3 to 6 months and involve 4 individual video sessions with you and your child, and 9 evening or morning parent group sessions lasting 2-2.5 hours each. MORE THAN WORDS PROGRAM / IT TAKES TWO TO TALK FEES:
NB: From 1st June 2023, fees for both Hanen Programs offered will be as follows:
Two payments of €460 for any Morning Program Submit your registration of Interest HERE for a Free No-Commitment Orientation / Information Zoom session. (Full program discounted fee: €920). Receipts provided with dates spread across 8 Hanen parent group program dates. Sessions may be weekly over 3 months or every 2 weeks over 6 months. If working this program will require 4.5 annual leave days for 9 half-day group sessions. Some evening and Saturday slots are available for individual appointments.
Two payments of €700 for any Evening Program. Submit your registration of Interest HERE for a Free No-Commitment Orientation / Information Zoom session. (Full program fee: €1400). Receipts provided with dates spread across the 8 Hanen parent group program dates. Sessions may be weekly over 3 months or every 2 weeks over 6 months.
Please note there is an additional fee of €140 if two siblings are participating in any program. This will be charged separately once we begin the program. This fee is applied due to the additional time involved with individual sessions, administration duties and video editing.
You will need to check directly with your health insurer as to what cover your policy provides.
There is no plan to run a program at the moment. When offered, there may be a waiting list so places are not guaranteed. If you attend a free Orientation and places are full for your preferred program please notify Carolyn at thespeechgrove@gmail.com, you will be contacted when another place becomes available. The above fee rules will apply.
All families must attend a (free) Orientation session and make sure that it is a good fit for you and your child.
If a family decides to opt out of the program having paid the deposit (half the full fee), no further payment will be sought, however the client will forfeit their deposit.
IMPORTANT: WHILE ATTENDING A PROGRAM, IF YOU REQUIRE A LETTER FOR ANY REASON, THERE WILL BE A FEE OF €60 EURO APPLIED. IF YOU REQUIRE A LONGER REPORT PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR FEES.
If you require a Natural Language Acquisition Analysis during the course of the program or afterwards, an additional charge of 100 euro will apply.
OTHER SLT SERVICES
Services listed below are currently only offered to families who have already attended a Hanen More Than Words program with this service.
ASSESSMENT:
We exclusively offer online coaching which does not require formal assessment but is rather based on observation and parental report. However sometimes a Natural Language Acquisition analysis may be recommended.
Natural Language Acquisition analysis: a fee of €100 applies in addition to your session booking fee of €100. This is due to the time involved in analysing language samples.
Screening with short written summary – speech only: €120. This is suitable when you wish to gain an overview of your child’s speech sound difficulties. There is no formal report but a brief summary may be forwarded to you after the session. Not currently available.
Screening with short written summary – language only: €200. This is suitable when you wish to gain an overview of your child’s language skills. There is no formal report but a brief summary may be forwarded to you after the session. Sometimes it may be necessary to carry out a more complete formal assessment which is equivalent to a full assessment with report. Not currently available.
Formal Written Report: 200 Euro – This is when your child has been attending for therapy and then requires a formal report to be written in order to be referred on to another service. Not currently available.
Full Assessment and report: €500. This involves a full formal assessment with written report. This is not always necessary as you may have already had an assessment done with another service. Not currently available.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY:
Therapy session 1 hour: €100.
Therapy session 40 minutes: €80.
School Visit (including school programme): €150
40 Minute School Zoom Meeting: €80
School Programme without visit: €100 – this is where an initial school visit has already been done, and a follow-up programme is sent to school without a school visit.
Short Letter report: €60. Sometimes while attending for therapy, you may require a brief letter report in order to access another service or additional resources.
Cancellations – there is no fee for cancellations up to one day prior to the scheduled appointment. A cancellation fee of 50% is applied to same day cancellations. For Hanen program cancellations, see above.
